NVIDIA GeForce 610.82 hotfix does not fix Battlefield 6 crashes

NVIDIA has released GeForce Hotfix Display Driver 610.82, based on the recently published Game Ready Driver 610.74 . The update includes fixes for Halo: Campaign Evolved and Path of Exile 2.
According to NVIDIA, the driver addresses stability problems affecting GeForce RTX 50 series cards in Halo: Campaign Evolved when using 610.xx drivers. The company does not specify which RTX 50 models were affected.
The second fix targets Path of Exile 2 in DirectX 12 mode. NVIDIA says the hotfix resolves intermittent long pauses that could occur after extended gameplay sessions.

No fix for Battlefield 6
We linked to this hotfix earlier today when covering the Battlefield 6 GPU driver crashes reported on maps with large bodies of water. Those reports appear to be concentrated among GeForce RTX 50 series users, although EA says the issue does not affect every system.
As mentioned in our earlier coverage, GeForce 610.82 does not appear to resolve the Battlefield 6 problem. It’s unclear whether the issue discovered recently is a game issue or a GeForce driver issue.
EA currently recommends rolling back to GeForce driver 596.49 for players experiencing repeated crashes. The developer is working with NVIDIA to identify the cause.
