Going along with the recent Lemonade local AI server updates and other AMD open-source AI software releases, today brings the release of Ryzen AI Software 1.8. This Ryzen AI "RAI" software release primarily is about supporting newer models and shipping more optimizations. A variety of new large language models are supported, new text-to-speech model support, new embedding model support, and new translation model support. Plus a variety of Stable Diffusion model updates too with performance optimizations.
Ryzen AI Software 1.8 also now supports running larger models on low-memory systems, better Whisper.cpp integration, and more. This is quite a big update with the last Ryzen AI Software release having been back in January.
