GeForce RTX 5060 appears with cut-down GB205 GPU

Yeston has officially listed an unusual GeForce RTX 5060 based on the GB205 GPU. This is the larger Blackwell silicon normally associated with the GeForce RTX 5070, while existing RTX 5060 models use GB206.
The RTX 5060 GAEA GC still has the standard configuration of 3,840 CUDA cores. Yeston lists a 2,280 MHz base clock and a 2,497 MHz boost clock, matching NVIDIA’s reference specifications. The GPU also retains its 614 AI TOPS rating.
Standard RTX 5060 specifications
The card has 8GB of GDDR7 memory attached to a 128-bit interface. The memory operates at 28 Gbps. It connects through a PCI Express 5.0 x8 interface and provides three DisplayPort 2.1b outputs alongside one HDMI 2.1b port.
© Yeston Power consumption is listed at approximately 145W. Yeston uses a standard eight-pin connector and recommends a 550W ATX 3.0 power supply. The board has a 4-phase NVVDD and 2-phase FBVDD power design.
Cooling is handled by two 96mm fans and two nickel-plated 6mm copper heat pipes. The white card also includes a full metal backplate but no lighting. It measures 244 × 124 × 45 mm without the mounting bracket and weighs 661 grams.
GB205 still needs confirmation
A GB205-based RTX 5060 would likely use partially disabled silicon that did not meet the requirements for a higher GPU model. The active core count, memory configuration and clock speeds indicate that users should not expect higher performance than from a GB206-based RTX 5060.






The core designation currently comes from Yeston’s official specification page. No die photograph, GPU-Z screenshot or device-level validation has been published, so a mistake in the product listing cannot yet be ruled out.
Yeston’s international store continues to identify other RTX 5060 cards as GB206. This model is not yet for sale, and it may not make it to the international market for all we know.
