BOSGAME launches $380 Wildcat Lake mini PC with 12GB LPDDR5X memory

BOSGAME E6 ECO launches with Core 3 304 and 12GB LPDDR5X

BOSGAME has announced the E6 ECO, one of the first mini PCs based on Intel’s Core 3 304 processor. The complete system costs $379.99 and will become available on August 15. It includes Windows 11, 12GB of onboard LPDDR5X memory and a 512GB PCIe 3.0 NVMe SSD.

The price is attractive for a complete PC using Intel’s latest low-cost architecture. However, the Core 3 304 sits at the bottom of the Wildcat Lake product stack. It is also the only consumer model in the series limited to five CPU cores.

Wildcat Lake starts with one Performance-core

The Core 3 304 combines one Cougar Cove Performance-core with four Darkmont Low Power Efficient-cores. It offers five cores and five threads, with the P-core boosting to 4.3 GHz. Intel lists a 15W base power and a 35W maximum turbo power.

The processor is manufactured using Intel 18A and includes one Xe3 graphics core running at up to 2.3 GHz. It also has a 15 TOPS NPU, while the integrated GPU contributes another 9 TOPS. This is not enough for Microsoft’s Copilot+ PC requirement, which some may find as a feature.

The E6 ECO measures 129 × 128 × 44 mm and uses two copper heat pipes with a hydraulic-bearing fan. BOSGAME includes Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.4 and a 10Gbps USB-C port with display output and Power Delivery. The system supports three 4K 60 Hz displays.

Storage can be expanded through a second M.2 2242 PCIe 4.0 slot. The networking specification is less clear. The product title mentions dual 2.5GbE, while the announcement and detailed product description both list dual Gigabit Ethernet.

As mentioned, the system will debut at $380, which is quite a good price considering it has 12GB memory. However this is not the PC for gamers, performance will likely suffer in more advanced workloads, it should even be slower than Macbook Neo.
