NVIDIA reportedly expands GeForce GPU kit price increases beyond RTX 5090
NVIDIA has reportedly informed its add-in card partners of higher prices for GPU kits supplied with graphics memory. The adjustment covers GeForce products using both GDDR7 and GDDR6 memory, according to BenchLife.
Board partners commonly purchase the GPU and VRAM together as a kit supplied through NVIDIA. BenchLife says the new notification follows an earlier price adjustment for the GeForce RTX 5090 and RTX 5090 D V2 in May.
Now we have received notifications that NVIDIA has issued a price increase notice for GPU KIT (GPU + VRAM) to its AIC partners, and we all know that this usually involves raising memory prices.

GDDR7 and GDDR6 products affected
The latest adjustment is reportedly not limited to Blackwell graphics cards using GDDR7 memory. GeForce products equipped with GDDR6 are also included, although BenchLife did not disclose the affected models or the size of the increase.
According to information we have received, in addition to the price increase of GDDR7 memory based on the Blackwell GPU architecture, other GeForce products using GDDR6 memory will also see price increases.

BenchLife adds that board partners are also facing higher costs for cooling systems, PCBs and packaging. However, the report claims the increases for these components are smaller than those affecting graphics memory.
RTX 50 SUPER memory costs
The report follows our information that NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 50 SUPER series remains on hold because of the cost of 3GB GDDR7 memory modules. Our source said these modules cost between $60 and $70 each, compared with around $20 for a 2GB module.
NVIDIA and its board partners have not announced retail price changes linked to the reported adjustment.
