ACEMAGIC F9A is a 2-liter Strix Halo mini PC with OCuLink
ACEMAGIC has announced the F9A, another mini PC based on AMD’s Ryzen AI Max+ 395 “Strix Halo” processor. Unlike the company’s larger Tank M1A Pro+ , the new system uses a much smaller 2-liter-class aluminum chassis.
The enclosure measures 158 × 158 × 85 mm, giving it an internal volume of around 2.1 liters. ACEMAGIC says the system can run at up to 140W, although the company has not explained whether this figure refers to the processor power limit or total system consumption.
Strix Halo with OCuLink and 128GB memory
The Ryzen AI Max+ 395 combines 16 Zen 5 CPU cores with Radeon 8060S integrated graphics. The GPU has 40 RDNA 3.5 compute units, while the XDNA 2 NPU delivers up to 50 TOPS. The F9A supports up to 128GB of LPDDR5X-8000 unified memory.
Storage is provided through two PCIe 4.0 M.2 slots. The system also has an OCuLink connector operating through a PCIe 4.0 x4 interface, allowing users to connect an external graphics card or another PCIe device without relying on USB4.
Other connections include two 40Gbps USB4 ports, three 10Gbps USB-A ports, HDMI 2.1, dual 2.5GbE, an SD 4.0 reader and a 3.5 mm audio jack. Wireless connectivity includes Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. ACEMAGIC also installed four microphones and two 2W speakers directly into the chassis.
The AI button is really a Copilot button
The unusual feature is a physical button on top of the system dedicated to launching Windows Copilot. ACEMAGIC promotes this as one of the F9A’s main AI features, although it performs the same basic function as the Copilot key already found on many keyboards. At least the good thing is that they didn’t put Copilot logo on it.
ACEMAGIC has not announced pricing or a release date. Availability details are expected in the coming weeks.
