Mechrevo launches new GeForce RTX 3050 laptop five years after GPU debut
RTX 3050 returns in another 2026 laptop.
© Mechrevo (modfied) Chinese laptop maker Mechrevo has launched a new Jiaolong 15K configuration with an AMD Ryzen 5 7640H processor and GeForce RTX 3050 Laptop GPU. The system is being sold as a current 2026 model, despite using an NVIDIA GPU introduced in May 2021.
The laptop is listed with 16GB of DDR5-4800 memory and a 512GB NVMe SSD. It also has a 15.6-inch IPS display with a 1920×1080 resolution, 144Hz refresh rate and 45% NTSC color coverage.
JD lists the configuration for 6,495.88 yuan, or around $960 before taxes and import costs.
© Mechrevo (translation) Mechrevo has not confirmed the GPU power limit or memory configuration. NVIDIA offers the RTX 3050 Laptop GPU with 4GB or 6GB of GDDR6 memory, so the exact version used in this system remains unclear.
Ampere production has already returned on desktop
This is not the only new laptop using RTX 3050 graphics in 2026. As we reported earlier this month, GIGABYTE launched its EAGLE GL6J series in Taiwan with RTX 3050 and RTX 4050 options.
The renewed use of RTX 3050 laptop chips follows the reported restart of desktop RTX 3060 production on Samsung’s 8nm process. New RTX 3060 and RTX 3050 cards have since appeared from Manli, while fresh RTX 3060 12GB stock has reached retailers in China, Europe and the United States.
