NVIDIA Reflex 2 still without a release date
© NVIDIA It’s January 2025 and NVIDIA has just announced Reflex 2 at CES 2025. It introduces a new Frame Warp feature designed to reduce input latency by updating rendered frames based on the latest mouse input. The company claimed the technology could lower latency by up to 75% compared with rendering without Reflex.
The announcement confirmed support for GeForce RTX 20, RTX 30, RTX 40 and RTX 50 graphics cards. NVIDIA initially named THE FINALS and VALORANT as the first supported games, but neither title has received a publicly available Reflex 2 implementation.
Although NVIDIA announced the GeForce RTX 50 series and Reflex 2 around 18 months ago, the technology has still not been released. Despite this, NVIDIA’s official Reflex 2 page advertises the feature alongside a “ Buy GeForce ” button. Had you known Reflex 2 would take this long to arrive, would it have changed your GeForce purchase plans?

NVIDIA mentioned Reflex 2 several times after the January 2025 announcement. The company referenced it in a February 2025 blog post and its financial materials, while journalists were shown a working demonstration of THE FINALS in March. These mentions repeated the original performance claims but did not include a release date.
More than 18 months later, NVIDIA still lists Reflex 2 Frame Warp as “coming soon.” The developer page asks studios to register for notifications about general integration, suggesting that the required SDK has not been released publicly.
It's been more than 80 weeks since NVIDIA announced Reflex 2 in January of 2025.

Modders ‘launched’ Reflex 2 a long time ago
Reflex 2-related files later appeared in test versions of ARC Raiders and THE FINALS. Modder PureDark reportedly used these components to create a working Frame Warp demonstration in October 2025, but NVIDIA did not release or endorse the implementation.
There is currently no confirmed Reflex 2 launch date, public driver support or complete list of compatible games. NVIDIA has also not explained why the technology missed its original rollout window.
We would normally ask the company for a statement, but NVIDIA has not responded to our three consecutive inquiries. At this point, sending another request would be a waste of time. The good news is that you now have Jensen Huang on X , so you may consider tagging him under our story.
