AMD has released its first Adrenalin Edition July driver, named 26.7.1 WHQL, which brings support for the newly announced AMD Radeon RX 9050 4 GB and 8 GB SKUs. These GPUs are entry-level RDNA 4 models featuring 1,024 Streaming Processors and either 4 GB or 8 GB of GDDR6 memory, depending on the configuration. Although the release wasn't widely advertised, this driver update confirms that availability is coming soon. Additionally, the WHQL driver includes support for new games, such as Gears of War: E-Day Open Beta Early Access and Out of Control Evolution. Fixed issues primarily address problems with RDNA 3 and RDNA 4 when running Blender and Maxon Cinema 4D. For a complete list of fixed and known issues, please see below.
