The Dragon Age franchise has had its ups and downs throughout the years, with Dragon Age: Inquisition being BioWare's best-selling game to date, and, despite The Veilguard's mixed reception, the series still has loyal fans asking for more games, whether they be sequels or remakes. However, in a recent interview with FRVR , the series's creator, Mark Darrah, suggests that it is unlikely that Dragon Age will return in any form whatsoever.

Darrah explains that he had approached EA to make another game after Inquisition's success, but the gaming giant still took over a decade to release Veilguard. He also says that the lackluster performance of Veilguard means that a sequel is unlikely to be pitched at all, never mind be approved.
