The first wave of RTX Spark-powered Windows 11 laptops is expected to arrive this fall, and now, we get our first look at the notebook that’ll ship with NVIDIA’s ARM-based SoC, the Lenovo Yoga 9n 2-In-1. Not only do you get a brand new chipset that’s tailor-made for gamers and creative professionals, but the laptop also comes with an OLED and other features that cater to productivity aficionados, such as a convertible form factor.
Apart from the RTX Spark that utilizes NVIDIA’s Blackwell architecture, Windows Latest has shared images of Lenovo’s Yoga 9n 2-in-1, which shows striking similarities to the Intel-powered Yoga 9i 2-in-1 Aura Edition. Given that the machine is a convertible notebook, we expect it to sport a premium chassis made up of aluminum. There’s also a 360-degree rotating soundbar hinge, allowing users to engage in multiple modes such as laptop, tablet, stand, and tent.
The display size isn’t confirmed, but the report mentions a 14-inch 2.8K PureSight Pro OLED, with the top area housing an IR webcam module for facilitating facial recognition via Windows Hello, and a privacy shutter. There’s a full-size keyboard with a Numpad, and for ports, the Yoga 9n 2-in-1 ships with an HDMI port, a USB-A port, a USB-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack on the left side, while the right side houses a USB-A port, another USB-C port, and a power button.
The report also mentions a standard Yoga Pro 9n, which features the RTX Spark and comes with a slightly larger 15-inch display, a magnetic pen holder built directly into the lid, and a large haptic trackpad that doubles as a drawing surface for the stylus. Lenovo used the slightly larger footprint to incorporate a 6-speaker setup with four woofers and two tweeters, with Dolby Atmos support.
As for the ports, the Yoga Pro 9n comes with HDMI input, USB-A, and USB-C on the left, and a full-size SD card reader. On the right, you get USB-C 10Gbps and USB-A. The USB-C port can handle charging, but the maximum wattage support wasn’t mentioned. Unsurprisingly, pricing and availability weren’t mentioned, but NVIDIA has stated that the first RTX Spark products will launch this fall .
We’ve also reported on an RTX Spark prototype in the form of Microsoft’s Surface Laptop Ultra, but because this notebook had unfinished drivers, the performance was subpar . Thankfully, NVIDIA has rolled out the first Developer Preview driver for Windows 11, so it shouldn’t be long before Lenovo’s Yoga 9n 2-In-1, Yoga Pro 9n, and a bevy of other notebooks featuring the RTX Spark flood the market.
