Lenovo replaces Lunar Lake with Wildcat Lake in new ThinkCentre AIO
Lenovo has listed the ThinkCentre Neo 50a 24 Gen 7, a new all-in-one desktop based on Intel Wildcat Lake processors. The system will be offered globally with Core 5 320 and Core 7 350 configurations.
The Gen 7 model arrives shortly after Lenovo introduced the ThinkCentre Neo 50a Gen 6. That version used Intel Lunar Lake processors and was available with 24-inch and 27-inch screens.
Up to 32GB LPDDR5X and two SSD slots
Lenovo will offer the new system with 16GB or 32GB of LPDDR5X-7467 memory. The memory appears to be soldered, with no SO-DIMM upgrade options listed in the company’s specifications.
Storage includes an M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 x4 slot supporting up to a 1TB SSD. A second M.2 2280 slot allows users to install another PCIe 4.0 drive. A separate M.2 2230 slot houses the wireless card, with configurations supporting Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.
24-inch 120 Hz display with HDMI input
The ThinkCentre Neo 50a 24 Gen 7 uses a 23.8-inch IPS display with a 1920×1080 resolution and refresh rates of up to 120 Hz. Lenovo lists touch and non-touch options, both rated for 350 nits brightness, a 1500:1 contrast ratio and 99% sRGB coverage.
Connectivity includes Gigabit Ethernet, four USB Type-A ports, two USB Type-C ports and HDMI 2.1 TMDS. The HDMI connection supports input and output, allowing the integrated display to be used with another device. Lenovo also includes two Harman-branded 3W speakers and a 5MP webcam.
Lenovo has not confirmed retail pricing or an exact release date. Its PSREF database lists regional configurations for markets worldwide.
