If you have been struggling with finding a cheap GPU, then you may also take a look at your local Goodwill store.
This might be the biggest steal this year despite the GPU not being from the current generation. The Redditor u/LittleBanditReddit got extremely lucky with his find at his local Goodwill store where he found a used GeForce GTX 1050 Ti. Goodwill stores might not be the best place to find used computer hardware, but if you are lucky, you might find something rare and in good condition.
The Redditor got his hands on this ASUS GeForce RTX 1050 Ti 4 GB graphics card as the worker was just putting the GPU on the shelf for sale. The user grabbed it immediately for just $2, which is less than the cost of a cup of coffee. Out of the box, the GPU appears to be in good condition and was working totally fine in the rig as well.

As you can see from the pic, the Redditor tested the GPU in Cyberpunk 2077 , and it was delivering nearly 30 FPS on average at 1080p with AMD FSR 2.1 set to Balanced. The system specification confirms the GPU to be legit with 4 GB of VRAM. While this might not be an amazing gaming GPU at the moment, it's still decent for casual titles, eSports, and older games where it can deliver nearly 60 FPS or more on medium to high settings.

GTX 1050 Ti was launched nearly 10 years ago and was one of the best budget graphics cards in the Pascal family. The GPU is hardly available on major retailers, and if you are lucky enough, you will find one for around 100 bucks. For $2, it's definitely a steal and would be a perfect piece of hardware needed for gaming on a budget or for diagnosis.
