The Battlefield 6 developer team has released a new update for the game, which should fix the driver crash issue for NVIDIA GPU owners.
Battlefield 6 was having issues with the NVIDIA GPUs, particularly the RTX 50 series cards for a while. A setup with RTX 50 GPU with maps such as Tsuru Reef was resulting in NVIDIA GPU driver crashes , due to which, the dev team recommended downgrading the driver to version 596.49. Although Battlefield Studios acknowledged the problem and announced that they are working for a fix, it took nearly two weeks for the dev team to come up with a fix.
The studios has now rolled out the latest Game Update 1.4.1.5 , which should fix the crashing issue. According to the release notes, it appears that there were multiple factors contributing to the crash. While maps with "large bodies of water" was already a known issue, custom search and a weapon attachment bug were also some culprits.

Release notes state that when changing attachments on the SOR-300SC carbine, users were reportedly facing driver crashing on the NVIDIA cards. It doesn't explicitly state the GPU models or the family, but it's likely that the majority of the reports were from the RTX 50 owners as per what we have read.
It appears that the problem didn't arise from the NVIDIA GPU driver, but rather from the game itself. Hopefully, the game update should fix the issue with the latest drivers, version 610.74 and newer, but in case users are still suffering from driver crashes, they should roll back to older driver versions in order to maintain a stable gameplay.
