HWiNFO 8.51-6045 with per-chip Radeon VRAM monitoring is now available
HWiNFO v8.51-6045 Beta is now available, one day after we reported that per-chip GDDR6 monitoring was being prepared for Radeon GPUs. The release adds separate VRAM temperature readings for AMD Navi GPUs instead of relying only on a combined memory junction value.
The HWiNFO creator confirmed that the software supports all Navi GPUs:

© HWiNFO RX 9070 XT owners test the new sensors
Reddit user 360nocomply tested the feature on an ASUS Prime Radeon RX 9070 XT OC with modified cooling. The hottest and coolest memory packages differed by 7.4°C under load, with an ambient temperature of around 29°C. The card used Gelid GN-Ultimate thermal putty on the memory and a Thermalright Heilos V2 pad on the GPU.
According to the user, the thermal putty reduced VRAM temperatures by between 4°C and 8°C compared with the stock pads. However, the individual package readings were still uneven. Another ASUS Prime RX 9070 XT owner reported one memory package reaching 90°C while the remaining packages stayed between 86°C and 88°C.

These are user reports rather than controlled tests, but they confirm that the new readings work on at least some Radeon RX 9070 XT cards. A temperature difference between memory packages does not automatically indicate a cooling fault. PCB placement, nearby power components, airflow and thermal pad contact can all affect individual readings.
NVIDIA monitoring is included too
The same beta adds GPU hotspot temperature reporting for NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs. It also adds per-chip VRAM monitoring for NVIDIA cards equipped with GDDR6X or GDDR7 memory. Other changes include detection for the Radeon RX 9060 XT LP and Radeon RX 9050, plus a fix for NGU clock reporting on Intel Arrow Lake processors.
