Redditor Snags iBUYPower RTX 5070 PC At Walmart Clearance For $800, Slashing $1,100 Off Its Usual Price

Another user went incredibly lucky with his purchase from his local Walmart store, getting nearly $1100 discount.

Not just Costco ; if you are lucky enough, you might be able to grab a gaming PC for extremely cheap from your local Walmart store. Walmart hosts items on clearance sales where you would see various items with deep discounts. This is exactly why the Reddit user u/Material-Junket214 was able to snag a powerful PC for way cheaper than its usual price.

The Redditor says he was able to get this gaming PC at Walmart for only $800 , which is ridiculously low when you take a look at its specifications. The PC is an iBUYPower Y40 pre-built desktop that has some serious hardware in its configuration. It uses the Intel Core Ultra 7 265F paired with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 12 GB GPU. More importantly, the rig comprises a good 32 GB DDR5 RAM capacity, which alone costs nearly $400-$500.

On top of that, the user got the 1 TB NVMe SSD, which can easily cost over $200. So, the price for the RAM and storage alone comes to around $700. The Core Ultra 7 265F, on the other hand, costs around $300 on most retailers, while the RTX 5070 easily costs around $700. Then we have an AIO, a 750W 80 Plus Gold power supply, a B860 motherboard, and a beautiful mid-tower chassis.

This desktop PC is usually listed at around $1,700 on major retailers, but the user u/Material-Junket214 was able to snag it for $1,100 less. For $800 , it's incredibly difficult to build an RTX 5060-based system with 16 GB RAM these days, let alone a PC with RTX 5070 and 32 GB RAM. On top of that, the PC also comes with a free keyboard and mouse combo to get started right away.

So, it's time for you to check your local Walmart store if you were waiting to build a PC from scratch, as buying pre-built systems is way cheaper these days than building one by yourself.
