ASUS ROG Swift PG27AQDPR matches the $849 Strix OLED’s core display specs
ASUS has added the ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDPR to its global product website. The 26.5-inch gaming monitor combines a 2560 × 1440 resolution with a refresh rate of up to 500Hz and a claimed 0.03ms gray-to-gray response time. ASUS has not confirmed pricing or a sales date.
ROG Swift version of the existing 500Hz Strix model
The main display specifications match those of the existing ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDPG. ASUS lists 300 nits of typical brightness, up to 1,000 nits in HDR, a 1,500,000:1 contrast ratio and 99% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space. The monitor supports 10-bit color and is factory calibrated with a claimed Delta E below 2.
© ASUS ASUS’ pages currently provide conflicting information about the panel generation. The product page describes it as third-generation QD-OLED, while the technical specification table labels it as Tandem QD-OLED. The listed performance figures remain identical to the third-generation panel used by the Strix XG27AQDPG.
The main changes concern the housing and stand. The PG27AQDPR has a semi-transparent rear cover and an ROG logo projector below the display. Its stand supports height, tilt, swivel and pivot adjustments, while a quarter-inch socket can hold a camera or other accessory. ASUS also includes OLED Care Pro, a Neo Proximity Sensor and a three-year warranty covering panel burn-in.

Connectivity includes one DisplayPort 1.4 input with Display Stream Compression, two HDMI 2.1 FRL ports, two USB-A 5Gbps ports and a headphone jack. There is no DisplayPort 2.1 or USB-C connection. The monitor supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and is listed as NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible.
ASUS has not attached a price to the PG27AQDPR. For comparison, the technically similar ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDPG currently costs $849 through the ASUS US store and €799 through several European ASUS stores .
