Jack Huynh confirms AMD opening keynote for IFA 2026
© Jack Huynh/AMD AMD will deliver the opening keynote at IFA 2026, according to Jack Huynh, the company’s head of Computing and Graphics. The presentation will take place on September 4 at 11:00 AM in Berlin.
The keynote is titled “The Era of Personal AI: The Future of Imagination.” AMD and IFA have not confirmed any product announcements, but the topic suggests that Ryzen AI systems, local AI processing and consumer devices will be part of the presentation.

Jack Huynh, senior vice president and general manager of the Computing and Graphics Group at AMD, will deliver the IFA opening keynote, “The Era of Personal AI: The Future of Imagination,” on the IFA Innovation Stage. Huynh will unveil AMD’s vision for the next era of computing, where AI transforms the relationship between people and technology and unlocks a new frontier of human imagination, creativity, and possibility.
It looks like AMD continues to push the AI narrative, regardless of how it affects anyone who is not an AMD investor. Everyone else is left paying more for graphics cards, laptops and other hardware.

What to actually expect?
IFA began as a radio exhibition in 1924 but now covers a broad range of consumer electronics and home appliances. Smartphones and mobile devices receive plenty of attention, though the show also has a dedicated Computing and Gaming area for laptops, processors, graphics cards, monitors and handheld systems.
This makes IFA a suitable venue for an AMD laptop update. The company could use the event to announce new Ryzen systems based on current architecture, but I doubt we will hear anything about Ryzen 500 series (Zen6) or Radeon 10000 (RDNA5).
