ASUS and Gigabyte have reportedly introduced new graphics card channel pricing in China for August. Board Channels claims both companies raised prices across nearly their full GeForce and Radeon lineups, with the average adjustment estimated at around 20% compared with July.
ASUS is said to have applied the larger increase at the top of the stack. Its GeForce RTX 5090D V2 channel price reportedly increased by 4,500 RMB, or about $666, while RTX 5080 and RTX 5070 Ti models rose by 1,500 to 1,700 RMB, or $222 to $252.

Retail changes will depend on existing inventory, distributor margins and how quickly stores move to the new August supply prices. While these are not direct prices for retail, we have already seen price hikes in South Korea , Japan , and the US .
Even old models are affected
The reported increases also cover older cards. ASUS reportedly raised RTX 3060 pricing by 950 RMB and RTX 3050 pricing by 300 RMB. Gigabyte is said to have increased the RTX 3060 12GB by 800 RMB and the RTX 3050 6GB by 300 RMB. NVIDIA has just restarted the production of RTX 3060 models two months ago and it’s already expected to get more expensive.
Radeon GPUs too
Radeon cards are included as well. ASUS reportedly raised the Radeon RX 9070 XT by 1,150 RMB, the RX 9060 XT 8GB by 500 to 650 RMB and the RX 7650 GRE by 330 RMB. Gigabyte’s Radeon lineup reportedly received increases ranging from 200 to 650 RMB, depending on the model.
