AMD has announced that the company is returning to IFA this year and will present the opening keynote to share the "vision for the next era of computing".
IFA is just one month away, & AMD is today announcing that it is returning to the keynote stage. The announcement comes from AMD's SVP and GM of the Computing and Graphics Group, Jack Huynh, who will be hosting the opening "Era of Personal AI" keynote on 4th of September at 5 AM CT.
Although there are no details on what is to be presented during the event, AMD does state that they will share their vision of computing and how "AI transforms the relationship between people and technology and unlocks a new frontier of human imagination, creativity, and possibility."
Since the term "Personal AI" is being used, we expect to see some decent announcements around consumer technologies.

We should expect some surprises from Jack, but it looks like IFA 2026 might end up being the launch event for AMD's Ryzen AI MAX 400 portfolio , which was announced during Computex & continues to be a highly anticipated product for AI prosumers with its hefty 192 GB of unified memory, directly tackling NVIDIA's DGX Spark with 128 GB of memory.
Besides that, we can expect some software-side announcements, especially new updates on the FSR suite. AMD is expanding its FSR 4 "Redstone" feature set to several generations of RDNA GPU architectures, but the real fun starts with FSR Diamond , the next major update to the FSR tech. So an insight into that will be interesting.
We don't expect any major CPU/GPU announcements outside of these, but a teaser into the next-generation Zen 6 portfolios will definitely make the keynote a lot more interesting as consumers anxiously wait for proper PC updates, both on desktop and mobile fronts .
