After MSI, ASUS, and GIGABYTE, AOC has also launched its first triple-mode gaming monitor for the budget segment.
At this point, numerous vendors have introduced triple-mode gaming monitors, which break the norm of single- and dual-mode models. Among the first ones were MSI and GIGABYTE triple-mode gaming monitors . ASUS followed a couple of weeks ago , and now it's AOC, which is a popular budget monitor manufacturer.
The company has launched its first triple-mode gaming monitor called GAMING CQ32G4ZA . The monitor boasts a 31.5-inch curved display featuring a VA panel. So, it's clearly not going to compete with the offerings of other, larger manufacturers. The CQ32G4ZA also features a curved display with 1500R curvature, which provides better immersion.
Since it uses a Fast VA panel, it delivers a quick response time of just 0.3 ms MPRT and 1 ms GtG, making it ideal for competitive gaming. As far as the modes are concerned, its primary mode is QHD@260Hz, which is a decent configuration for both immersive and competitive gaming. However, users who want to enjoy higher frame rates can switch to FHD@360Hz mode, which AOC calls ideal for "competitive shooters".

The third mode is HD@500Hz, which significantly downgrades the resolution and serves those who want the highest possible refresh rate on the display. It might not be ideal for everyone, but it pushes the monitor to its limits for delivering absolutely smooth visuals.
The monitor boasts a good 4000:1 contrast ratio, which delivers great picture quality, and with up to 450 nits of brightness, it's ideal to use even in well-lit environments, particularly when it ships with an anti-glare coating. For connectivity, the CQ32G4ZA brings two HDMI 2.0 ports, one DP 1.4 port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Unfortunately, there are no USB ports for peripheral connectivity.
The AOC Gaming CQ32G4ZA will officially launch for retail in December, 2026 at an MSRP of £239.99 or US$321.
