Limited Evercade Nexus DOOM Edition goes up for pre-order August 7
Evercade has announced a limited DOOM Edition of its Nexus handheld, which will launch alongside the new DOOM Collection cartridge. The console will be limited to 3,000 units worldwide and priced at $249.99.
The special edition was revealed at the end of Evercade’s latest DOOM Collection trailer. The package includes the DOOM-themed Evercade Nexus, the DOOM Collection cartridge, a hard shell case, poster and DOOM comic.

Pre-orders open on August 7 at 7 AM PDT, or 3 PM in the UK, through Funstock. Evercade plans to begin shipping the system on October 30.
The regular Evercade Nexus costs $199.99, putting the DOOM Edition bundle $50 above the standard model. The extra cost covers the DOOM Collection and bundled physical extras, as well as the limited console design.
Evercade is also preparing a Banjo-Kazooie Double Pack for the Nexus. That cartridge will cost $29.99 separately, while the standard Nexus bundle with the game is listed at $199.99. It is also scheduled to ship on October 30.

© Evercade Evercade first confirmed its DOOM collaboration with id Software in February as part of the studio’s 35th anniversary celebrations. At the time, the company only confirmed that classic DOOM content would arrive on Evercade hardware later in 2026.
