MSI RTX 5080 DRACO EPIC specs confirmed, 2760 MHz boost and 360W power
MSI has published the specifications for its GeForce RTX 5080 SUPRIM DRACO EPIC EDITION, the special model released for the company’s 40th anniversary. The card receives a higher factory overclock than MSI’s existing RTX 5080 SUPRIM models.
The DRACO EPIC EDITION runs at a 2760 MHz boost clock in Gaming and Silent modes. MSI Center can increase this to 2775 MHz through the Extreme Performance profile. The standard RTX 5080 SUPRIM OC and SUPRIM LIQUID OC are both rated at 2700 MHz boost and 2715 MHz through MSI Center.
DRACO is 60 MHz faster than both SUPRIM models
This gives DRACO a 60 MHz, or roughly 2.2%, clock increase over both standard SUPRIM configurations. MSI has not increased the listed board power to achieve this. The DRACO remains a 360W card with one 16-pin power connector and an 850W recommended power supply.

The card uses the same 359 x 150 x 76 mm dimensions as the air-cooled SUPRIM OC. MSI has not yet confirmed its weight. The DRACO model uses the company’s HYPER FROZR cooling design with STORMFORCE fans, a vapor chamber and optimized core pipes. It also receives the blue 40th anniversary design, an etched metal backplate and a matching GPU support stand.
The underlying GPU configuration is unchanged. The RTX 5080 has 10,752 CUDA cores and 16GB of GDDR7 memory on a 256-bit interface running at 30 Gbps. MSI has therefore differentiated the DRACO EPIC EDITION through its cooling, design and a higher factory GPU clock rather than memory or power changes.
MSI announced the DRACO EPIC EDITION hardware lineup earlier this week as part of its 40th anniversary products. The company has not yet listed the RTX 5080 DRACO’s weight or confirmed pricing and availability on the specification page.
