Acer Aspire Go 15 with Snapdragon C listed for £499 with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage

Snapdragon C debuts in Acer Aspire Go 15 for £499, well above Qualcomm’s $300 target

Acer’s first Snapdragon C laptop has appeared at retail in the UK. The Aspire Go 15 AG15-Q31P is listed for £499.99 with 8GB of memory and only 128GB of storage.

The laptop itself is not new. Acer announced the Aspire Go 15 with Snapdragon C at Computex in May, but did not confirm pricing at the time. Acer said the system would ship with up to 8GB of memory and up to 512GB of storage, so the UK listing represents the lowest storage configuration.

Snapdragon C was announced for $300-class laptops

Qualcomm introduced Snapdragon C as its entry-level Windows-on-Arm platform for laptops starting at around $300 . This makes the £500 (around $670) Aspire Go 15 considerably more expensive than the price range Qualcomm used when announcing the platform. The Snapdragon C uses eight Kryo CPU cores rather than the newer Oryon architecture used by Snapdragon X-series chips.

The Aspire Go 15 has a 15.6-inch 1920×1080 display and a 53Wh battery. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6E, two USB-C ports, USB-A, HDMI 1.4 and a 3.5mm audio connector. The system also includes a 1080p webcam and full-size keyboard with a numeric keypad.

Despite including a Copilot key, Snapdragon C systems do not qualify as Copilot+ PCs. Qualcomm confirmed that the platform does not meet Microsoft’s Copilot+ requirements. The Aspire Go 15 configuration also has only 8GB of memory, while Copilot+ PCs require at least 16GB.

The Amazon UK listing indicates availability on September 1st.
