AOOSTAR has introduced the Maco-L 7735U, a compact system based on AMD’s Ryzen 7 7735U processor. The new model launches in China for 2,699 RMB, or roughly $375 to $400 .

The Ryzen 7 7735U is an 8-core and 16-thread Zen 3+ processor from AMD’s Rembrandt-R family. It includes Radeon 680M integrated graphics with 12 RDNA 2 Compute Units. The Maco-L is offered with up to 24GB of LPDDR5 memory.

AOOSTAR also equipped the system with an OCuLink connector for external graphics. This provides a direct PCIe connection for compatible eGPU docks. Two USB4 ports are also available and can be used with USB4-based external GPU enclosures.

Three PCIe 4.0 SSD slots and dual 2.5GbE

Storage support is one of the more unusual features of the Maco-L. The system has three M.2 PCIe 4.0 x4 slots, with AOOSTAR listing support for drives up to 8TB per slot. The PC also includes two 2.5GbE ports, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, two USB 2.0 ports and a 3.5mm audio connector.

Display output is handled through HDMI, DisplayPort and both USB4 connectors, with support for up to four displays. The system also supports up to 100W USB Power Delivery and includes a fingerprint reader.

AOOSTAR has not listed Wi-Fi or Bluetooth support for this model, which may indicate that wireless connectivity requires an additional adapter. The Maco-L 7735U is currently announced for China. AOOSTAR already sells other Maco systems internationally, but the company has not confirmed global pricing or availability for this version.
