Intel CPU Microcode 20260811 Release Fixes Eight Security Issues

Intel today published their 20260811 CPU microcode updates to fix a variety of issues for exciting processors, including shipping the first new microcode images for Bartlett Lake and Wildcat Lake. The new microcode updates stretch back to Intel Core Gen10 processors.

A total of eight security issues have been addressed with today's Intel 20260811 CPU microcode drop. INTEL-SA-01379 is a high rated escalation of privilege vulnerability around Intel TDX with Xeon 6 processors.


INTEL-SA-01404 is an information disclosure vulnerability for Xeon 6 CPUs with Intel TDX.

INTEL-SA-01423 is an information disclosure vulnerability for Intel processors with a load value injection issue around incorrect data forwarding during transient execution within Ring 0. This vulnerability stretches back to 10th Generation Intel Core CPUs.

INTEL-SA-01428 is an escalation of privilege affecting all Intel Core Ultra CPUs as well as Xeon 6 processors.

INTEL-SA-01435 is an escalation of privilege vulnerability for Xeon 6 processors due to improper access controls within Ring 3.

INTEL-SA-01441 is a denial of service vulnerability for Core Ultra Series 2 and Core Ultra Series 3 processors.

INTEL-SA-01442 is an escalation of privilege vulnerability for Intel Xeon processors due to always incorrect control flow in some firmware and a second CVE tied to it over improper input validation.

INTEL-SA-01443 is a denial of service vulnerability for 3rd Gen Xeon Scalable processors due to a hardware logic race condition.

In addition to these eight security vulnerabilities, various functional issues have also been corrected with this month's batch of Intel CPU microcode updates.
