AMD reportedly increases Radeon RX 9000 pricing guidance for Q3 in China
A new table circulating through Chinese graphics card channel sources claims AMD has adjusted Radeon pricing guidance for the third quarter. The document covers the Radeon RX 9070 XT, RX 9070, RX 9070 GRE, both RX 9060 XT variants and the China-specific RX 7650 GRE.
The table lists two prices for each model, an AMD Q3 SEP (Suggested E-tail Price) guidance price and what is described as AMD’s standardized MSRP. The RX 9070 XT is listed with a 6,999 RMB Q3 SEP and 5,599 RMB MSRP. The difference between the two reaches 1,400 RMB, with the Q3 SEP sitting 25% above the listed MSRP.
© Channel Gate For comparison, AMD originally launched the Radeon RX 9070 XT at a $599 SEP and the RX 9070 at $549. The official US launch prices for the RX 9060 XT were $349 for the 16GB model and $299 for the 8GB version. AMD expanded the RX 9070 GRE globally in June 2026 with the same $549 SEP previously assigned to the RX 9070.
Worth adding that Chinese launch pricing was actually lower than some figures shown in the new table. The RX 9070 XT debuted in China at 4,999 RMB and the RX 9070 at 4,499 RMB This means the reported Q3 SEP for the RX 9070 XT is 40% above its original Chinese launch price, while the RX 9070 figure is about 24% higher.
No sign of a price hike yet
We also checked current listings on JD.com. The reported new pricing has not yet been applied consistently across the Radeon lineup. Some RX 9070 GRE models are already listed close to 3,999 RMB, while RX 9070 XT cards can be found around the reported 5,599 RMB level. Other models and partner designs remain above or below these figures due to discounts and store promotions, so the new MSRP structure is not yet reflected across all listings.
AMD has not confirmed new global pricing
The report follows earlier information that AMD was preparing another Radeon GPU and memory kit price increase in August . We reported last month that board partners were reportedly informed of an increase of at least 10%. ASUS and Gigabyte channel pricing in China subsequently increased across many Radeon and GeForce models.
There is currently no confirmation that AMD has changed its official US or European Radeon pricing.
