HWiNFO confirms preliminary support for Intel’s Razor Lake-AX platform
HWiNFO is preparing preliminary support for Intel Razor Lake-AX, adding another reference to Intel’s rumored large APU platform. The support has appeared in the software’s upcoming changes list, after the current HWiNFO 8.51-6045 Beta release.
This means Razor Lake-AX support is not part of Build 6045 yet. That beta was released earlier this month with NVIDIA Blackwell GPU Hot Spot reporting, per-chip GDDR6X/GDDR7 temperature monitoring and per-chip VRAM sensors for AMD Navi GPUs. HWiNFO now lists Razor Lake-AX support among changes being prepared for a later build.

Razor Lake-AX has appeared several times in our reporting this year. The AX series is reportedly Intel’s large CPU and integrated GPU design aimed at the same class of systems as AMD’s Ryzen AI Max “Halo” processors and Apple’s higher-end M-series chips. Intel has not officially announced Razor Lake-AX or confirmed that such a product will reach the market.
Our earlier reporting linked Razor Lake-AX to a BGA4326 package measuring 37.5 × 56.5 mm , considerably larger than Intel’s current desktop CPU package. Another leak claimed the processor would be offered with either 16 or 32 Xe3 graphics cores. The larger configuration would have more than twice as many Xe cores as the 12-core graphics configuration associated with some Nova Lake processors.
Razor Lake-AX is also reportedly bringing memory back onto the processor package . Intel used this approach with Lunar Lake, where LPDDR5X memory sits on the package, but moved back to external system memory with its following client platforms. For Razor Lake-AX, the wider memory interface required by a much larger integrated GPU could explain why Intel may return to this design.
HWiNFO support appears early
HWiNFO often adds preliminary recognition for Intel hardware well before products launch. The software added early Nova Lake support in August 2025 and continued expanding it through several releases before adding improved Nova Lake support to HWiNFO 8.50 in July. Razor Lake-AX has now entered the same process, although the HWiNFO entry does not reveal CPU configuration, graphics specifications, memory support or a launch date.
Intel has yet to publicly confirm Razor Lake-AX.
