Acer Googlebook 14 GP714-91N listed with Panther Lake and 16GB memory
© Google Acer’s upcoming Googlebook 14 has appeared in a European retailer listing, providing one of the clearest confirmations yet of the hardware planned for Google’s new laptop platform. The GP714-91N-50HP configuration uses Intel’s Core Ultra 5 325 , confirming Panther Lake for this Acer Googlebook.
The listing from SHI France identifies the system as the Acer Googlebook 14 GP714-91N-50HP , manufacturer part number NX.JWJEF.008. It lists a 14-inch 2.8K OLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, 16 GB of memory and a 256 GB SSD. The operating system is listed as Google Chrome OS.
Panther Lake enters Googlebook
© SHI.fr The Core Ultra 5 325 belongs to Intel’s Core Ultra Series 3 family and is officially identified by Intel as Panther Lake. This processor has 8 cores consisting of 4 Performance cores and 4 Low Power Efficient cores. It boosts up to 4.5 GHz and has a 25W base power with a maximum turbo power of 55W.
The chip is manufactured using Intel 18A for its CPU tile and includes Intel Graphics with 4 Xe cores. Intel also specifies an NPU rated at 47 TOPS. The processor supports LPDDR5X-7467 or DDR5-6400 memory, although the Acer retailer listing simply describes the installed 16 GB as “DDR5X.”
Acer prepares its first Googlebook
The GP714-91N was previously tracked under the Moonstone board name. GBookHub linked Moonstone to Acer in July and reported Core Ultra 5 325 and Core Ultra 7 355 configurations, with up to 32 GB of LPDDR5X memory and 512 GB storage. The current SHI listing provides a retail reference for the Core Ultra 5 model.
Google announced Googlebook in May and confirmed Acer, ASUS, Dell, HP and Lenovo as hardware partners. At the time, Google did not disclose processor platforms or specific laptop models. Google said the first systems were planned for this fall, so the appearance of an Acer Panther Lake configuration fills in one of the main missing hardware details.
The SHI listing currently shows the laptop on backorder at €1,022, with an MSRP of €1,125.
