GeForce NOW On Linux Native App Exits Beta

At the beginning of the year NVIDIA released a native build of GeForce NOW for Linux using Flatpaks. Today their native Linux build has exited beta to reach official production status for this cloud gaming solution from NVIDIA.

GeForce NOW on Linux as well as Chromebooks has exited beta ahead of the back-to-school season. Since the beta period began earlier this year, NVIDIA engineers have continued making more performance and stability improvements and further polishing to the native build. GeForce NOW on Linux is officially supported on Ubuntu 24.04 and later while thanks to the usage of Flatpak it should end up working fine on many other Linux distributions too.

NVIDIA has also established a Flatpak repository to make it easier to receive further updates to the GeForce NOW Linux app.
