How would you feel getting scammed this way? I mean, you won't complain if this happened to you.
This might be one of the luckiest guys right now who was simply ordering a CPU cooler for one of his rigs. The Redditor u/Joccahontas says he ordered a $26 CPU cooler, but received something else instead. This isn't the first time we've heard such a story because retailers can occasionally make such mistakes. We have seen how sometimes retailers ship several units of the same hardware and let the customers keep them.
This Redditor got extremely lucky as well: he ordered the Cooler Master Hyper 212 CPU cooler but received a CPU instead. And this CPU wasn't just any other CPU; it was the 10th Anniversary AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D, which AMD launched recently. So, it's not like he got a unit from one of the older batches, but he received a new edition, and that too, in a sealed pack.

This CPU currently costs $349 at most retailers and is the fastest gaming CPU on the AM4 platform. The Ryzen 7 5800X3D brings eight strong Zen 3 cores, coupled with an additional 64 MB of L3 cache, to deliver superb gaming performance. For $26, the user got one of the best pieces of hardware, but he still complained that he didn't get the CPU cooler he ordered.
He says he cannot use it since "it comes without a fan", and he will now need to order the CPU cooler again to ensure he can deploy the CPU he received mistakenly. Hopefully, we get lucky with mistakes like this someday, too.
