GMKtec EVO-X5 leak reveals Gorgon Halo and Radeon 8065S graphics
© GMKtec An unannounced GMKtec EVO-X5 mini-PC has appeared in the Geekbench database with AMD’s Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 processor. The benchmark was today cpmfirms the system and motherboard as EVO-X5. GMKtec has not announced this model yet.
The system uses the Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495, the fastest SKU in AMD’s Ryzen AI Max PRO 400 series, codenamed Gorgon Halo. This is a refresh of Strix Halo using the same Zen 5 CPU and RDNA 3.5 GPU architectures. The 495 has 16 cores and 32 threads, boosts up to 5.2 GHz and features Radeon 8065S graphics with 40 Compute Units running at up to 3.0 GHz.

Gorgon Halo also raises the supported unified memory capacity from 128GB on Strix Halo to 192GB LPDDR5X-8533, with up to 160GB configurable as graphics memory. AMD lists a 45W to 120W configurable TDP and an XDNA 2 NPU rated at up to 55 TOPS. AMD announced the series in May and said systems from OEM partners would arrive during the third quarter of 2026.
© GMKTec The EVO-X5 sample appears to have 128GB installed . The benchmark records a maximum CPU frequency of 5.24 GHz and correctly detects Radeon 8065S graphics. It produced a Vulkan score of 103,729. Geekbench still labels the processor codename as Strix Halo, while AMD officially identifies the PRO 495 as Gorgon Halo.
We previously reported that GMKtec planned to offer the Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 with its EVO-X3 later this year, including a 192GB configuration. The appearance of EVO-X5 suggests the company is also preparing another system around the same Gorgon Halo processor.
There has been no official EVO-X5 announcement, so its design, memory configurations, pricing and launch date remain unknown.
