You might soon be able to buy two RTX 5060 Ti 8GB cards for the price of one 16GB model.
NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB pricing continues to move further away from its launch MSRP. Newegg currently lists the cheapest 16GB model, the MSI RTX 5060 Ti SHADOW 2X OC PLUS, at $779.99. Other available models shown by the retailer include the MSI Ventus 3X OC and ASUS Dual OC at $799.99.
The difference compared with the 8GB version is now difficult to understand. Newegg has a PNY RTX 5060 Ti 8GB at $449.99, while MSI and GIGABYTE models are listed at $499.99 and $509.99. Comparing the cheapest cards, the 16GB model costs $330 more, or 73% extra, despite both using the same GB206 GPU.

The 16GB card launched at $429 in the US, while NVIDIA set the 8GB version at $379. This means the cheapest 16GB model shown by Newegg is now around 82% above MSRP. The additional 8GB of GDDR7 originally carried a $50 premium, but the current difference between the cheapest listings has expanded to $330.
A similar situation appeared in the UK this week. RTX 5060 Ti 16GB cards briefly crossed RTX 5070 pricing at some retailers . RTX 5070 models have been available around the same £600 level, leaving almost no price separation between the two GPU tiers. This is actually kind of crazy, because it’s no longer the GPU dictating the price, but the memory.
