ASUS says RTX Spark demand exceeded expectations ahead of Q4 launch
ASUS says demand from channel partners for its upcoming NVIDIA RTX Spark systems has exceeded its expectations. During the company’s Q2 2026 investor conference, ASUS confirmed that the quantities originally planned for launch have already been allocated. The company is now placing additional orders ahead of the platform’s release.
“The market response has far exceeded our expectations. Essentially, the initial quantities we planned have already been fully pre-ordered by our channel partners.”
Not consumer preorders
This refers to orders from distributors and retail partners. ASUS did not disclose shipment volumes, so it is unclear how large the first production run will be. The company said its RTX Spark launch remains aligned with NVIDIA’s schedule and is expected in the fourth quarter.
ASUS has already presented its first RTX Spark systems at Computex. The company is preparing ProArt P16 and ProArt P14 laptops , as well as a ProArt Mini PC.

RTX Spark combines a 20-core Arm CPU developed with MediaTek and a Blackwell GPU with up to 6,144 CUDA cores. The platform supports up to 128GB of LPDDR5X unified memory and NVIDIA lists up to 1 PFLOP of FP4 AI performance. NVIDIA announced that RTX Spark laptops and compact desktop systems from its first partners are scheduled to arrive this fall.
Pricing? Gaming?
One thing we have not seen yet from the RTX Spark platform is a clear focus on gaming. NVIDIA has shown gaming demos, but no gaming-branded laptop or Mini PC has been confirmed with RTX Spark so far. Lenovo reportedly had plans for a Legion system, but ASUS has not announced an RTX Spark product under its ROG gaming brand.
