AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 drops to $799 with promo code, free 240mm AIO included
Newegg has launched a new promotion for AMD’s Ryzen 9 9950X3D2. The processor is listed at its $899 MSRP, but a $100 promo-code discount lowers the effective price to $799 .
The Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 is AMD’s 16-core Zen 5 AM5 flagship with 3D V-Cache installed on both CCDs. It has 32 threads, boosts up to 5.6 GHz and carries 192MB of L3 cache with a 200W TDP. AMD launched the processor in April at $899.
$100 discount plus a free 240mm cooler
The deal also includes a Cooler Master Elite Liquid 240 AIO at no additional cost. Newegg values the 240mm cooler at $79.99, so buyers applying the $100 CPU discount are effectively getting the processor for $799 plus the cooler.
The 9950X3D2 remains considerably more expensive than the standard Ryzen 9 9950X3D, but this is one of the first promotions to move AMD’s dual 3D V-Cache SKU below its launch price while also including a cooler.
