AIDA64 adds preliminary support for AMD Zen 7

AIDA64 is already preparing for AMD’s Zen 7 architecture. The latest 8.35.8405 beta, released on August 16, adds “ preliminary support for AMD Zen 7 server processors.”
The timing is interesting because AMD only publicly detailed its Zen 7 server roadmap last month . At Advancing AI 2026, AMD confirmed that Zen 7-based EPYC processors are planned for 2028. The company named three CPU families, Florence, Ferrara and Fidenza.

AIDA64 does not explain what its preliminary support currently covers. Such early support typically means the software is being prepared to identify future processors and read available platform information.

Zen 7 will follow the Zen 6 architecture used by 6th Gen EPYC “Venice.” AMD has already started production ramp of Venice on TSMC’s 2nm process, while Zen 7 server products are officially scheduled for 2028.
AMD also has EPYC “Verano” planned for 2027 as part of its annual server platform cadence. Zen 7 comes one year later, with AMD already confirming Ferrara for its 2028 Helios 600 rack-scale platform alongside Instinct MI600 accelerators.
