It’s definitely not an easy proposition when hunting for a pre-built gaming PC in the middle of a DRAM shortage , but the lucky stars for one customer lined up perfectly when he stumbled upon what the majority would conclude as an excellent purchase. A console gamer managed to snag a CyberPowerPC equipped with an RTX 5060, 32GB of RAM, and more for $849. Luckily, the customer employed his negotiation tactics and got an additional $100 discount, bringing the total to $749.
Purchasing a CyberPowerPC unit wasn’t even on the cards for Redditor “Chocolatehusky226,” especially seeing as how he wouldn’t transition to the gaming PC side to abandon his drive for console gaming. However, if you stumbled upon a similar deal, you’d probably change affiliations as quickly as this person because an RTX 5060, 32GB of RAM, and a 1TB SSD paired with all the bells and whistles you could ever want was tough to pass up.
Originally listed at $1,349, the item received a $500 discount, bringing the price down to $849. What’s also interesting is that the Redditor didn’t pay the $849 total because he claims that the staff gave him a $100 discount by simply asking for a price cut. In the picture below, he shows that his brand-new and proud purchase is hooked to an ultrawide curved gaming monitor, so he’ll definitely be enjoying some AAA gaming sessions.

Just to put things into perspective, Lexar’s Thor Z 32GB kit operating at 6,000MT/s is available for $429.99 on Amazon , and it’s currently the cheapest RAM kit listed on the online retailer with a 4+ star customer rating. Given that the RAM kit alone is more than half the price of the RTX 5060 gaming PC, it’s definitely a solid purchase. We haven’t even accounted for the SSD’s price, which isn’t exactly cheap in this day and age, as a decent option like the Acer Predator GM7 costs $189.99 on Amazon .
The CPU paired with the RTX 5060 is Intel’s Core Ultra 5 225F, which isn’t the fastest desktop chip out there, with 10 CPU cores and a 20MB L3 cache, but for 1080p gaming, it’s still an excellent option. The RTX 5060 could face performance bottlenecks due to its 8GB of VRAM, but the latest titles can still deliver sufficient fidelity on medium settings. For one thing, it definitely offers more graphics horsepower than a base PS5.
