NVIDIA Adds GeForce NOW Support for Firefox Browser

NVIDIA has added Firefox to its list of supported GeForce NOW browsers on Windows, joining Chrome, Edge, and Opera. Firefox holds around 2.5% global browser market share, well behind the big three, but the addition offers cloud gaming access to millions of users who prefer Mozilla's browser. The rollout follows months of collaboration between NVIDIA and Mozilla to get the experience up to the GeForce NOW standards. Ultimate members get up to 1440p and 120 FPS, RTX-powered performance, no downloads or installs required.

In a blog post, Ajit Varma, Head of Firefox said that "teaming up with NVIDIA to bring GeForce NOW to Firefox is a milestone moment". He also sees this as a "big win for the Firefox community" and added that some bigger things lie ahead. So, to cut it short, Firefox fans no longer need to switch to Chrome, Edge, or Opera browsers as they can now stream games from their beloved Mozilla browser. This came just a little over a week after NVIDIA's announcement that the official, Linux native port of the GeForce NOW cloud gaming service client app is out of beta and available for gamers worldwide.
