In a surprising throwback, an unlikely new Worms game has appeared in a leak on X. The official artwork and name of Worms Galactic Tactics has been leaked by @intercelluar on X , who shared the official artwork alongside a caption saying that "New Worms game developed by Absolutely Games (Project Arrakis)."

Project Arrakis appears to be the new Worms game's internal code name, under which we previously got a look at some of the in-game content, including the art style and the isometric turn-based tactical gameplay. According to those prior leaks , Worms Galactic Tactics will have a similar gameplay structure to XCOM, but perhaps with the addition of roguelike gameplay mechanics. In previously leaked in-game screenshots, it seemed as though Worms Galctic Tactics would feature squads of five players per team.
