Colorful P16 Pro Starwind debuts with Core Ultra 7 251HX and RTX 5060

Colorful has introduced the P16 Pro Starwind Water-Cooled Edition 2026, its first gaming laptop designed to work with an external liquid-cooling dock. The system combines an Intel Core Ultra 7 251HX processor with a GeForce RTX 5060 Laptop GPU. Sales in China are scheduled to begin on August 28.
The laptop uses a 16-inch 2560×1600 IPS display with a 300 Hz refresh rate, 500-nit brightness and 100% sRGB coverage. It comes with 16GB of DDR5-5600 memory and a 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. Colorful lists a 60Wh battery, 280W GaN power adapter, 19.9 mm thickness and a weight of 2.05 kg.
Colorful previously used Clevo, but water cooling points toward Tongfang
The cooling system combines two fans and five heatpipes with an integrated liquid-cooling loop. Colorful claims up to 150W combined performance using air cooling alone. Connecting the dedicated Starwind S1 dock allows coolant to circulate through the notebook while the internal fans operate at lower speeds.
© Colorful Colorful’s previous air-cooled P16 Pro appears to come from Clevo. This confirms that Colorful has already used Clevo as an ODM for at least some P16 Pro models. I couldn’t find direct confirmation but the water-cooled laptop may come from a different supplier. Most gaming laptops using this type of external liquid-cooling system are based on Tongfang.
© Colorful The same manufacturer supplies water-cooled platforms sold under brands such as XMG, Eluktronics, Dream Machines and Aftershock. Current examples include the XMG NEO 16 and Eluktronics HYDROC-16, while Dream Machines directly identifies its equivalent models as Tongfang X6-series barebones.
Colorful lists the P16 Pro Starwind Water-Cooled Edition at approximately $1,710 USD at current exchange rates. Sales are scheduled to begin in China on August 28. Who even needs a watercooled RTX 5060 laptop? I’m not sure.
