Philips Launches the 275B1, 245B1 and 242B1 Monitors

Philips today announced the launch of three new monitors to its lineup, separated mostly by maximum display resolution. Features are pretty on par for all three displays, save for the 27" diagonal that the 275B1 presents, alongside its QHD (2560 x 1440) resolution. The 245B1 features the same QHD display shrunken down to 24", while the 242B1 makes do with a 1080p resolution and the same 24".

The rest of the specs are pretty straightforward between all monitors. All come with an IPS panel with Flicker-Free technology, LowBlue Mode to reduce eye fatigue, and an Easy Read mode. Philips' Power Sensor (which reduces screen brightness from a predefined level in the absence of the monitor's user) comes in all models, as does a pair of built-in speakers. I/O is assured by DisplayPort 1.2, HDMI 1.4, USB 3.2 and HDCP. As to pricing, the Philips 245B1 monitor will be available from April 2020 (RRP of £199). The Philips 242B1 and the Philips 275B1 monitors will be available in June 2020 with RRPs of £173 and £269 respectively.
