Top Japan homebuilder hit with stoppage over licensing scandal

OSAKA -- Japan's biggest homebuilder, Daiwa House Industry, has been ordered by local construction authorities to halt electrical and plumbing work for 22 days after hundreds of its supervisors were found to be improperly licensed.
