Intel Arc A380 gets first specs
The first confirmed discrete GPU to leak ahead of Intel’s announcement is the Arc A380.
Intel Arc A380 is the upcoming entry-level discrete GPU based on gaming Xe-HPG architecture. The new leaks from SiSoftware appear to confirm that this desktop part will feature 1024 FP32 shadings units (128 Intel’s Execution Units). This would match the previous speculation that there is still a lower-end part called A350 now seemingly confirmed to feature a cut-down DG2-128EU GPU with 96 Execution Units.

The card was tested in a variety of SiSoftware benchmark tests, where it shows entry-level to mid-range performance. It is unclear how mature the drivers are but most tests are quite recent, dating only a few days back.

Arc A380 scores 2870 Mpix/s in General Purpose GPU processing, which is right in between NVIDIA’s RTX 3050 Ti and RTX 3050 Laptop GPUs.

According to this leak, the Intel Arc A3XX series might indeed be all based on DG2-128EU GPU. This further suggests that parts based on higher-end 512EU GPU might adopt an A7XX or A5XX naming.
We expect Intel to announce its first Arc GPUs at CES 2022 news conference now set for tomorrow.
