Nvidia's RTX 3090 Ti Specs and Image Leak ahead of official reveal
Nvidia's hosting a CES 2022 showcase tomorrow, and there Nvidia is expected to reveal their new RTX 3090 Ti graphics card. This graphics card will be the company's 2022 gaming flagship, offering users faster memory and higher core clock speeds than the RTX 3090 it replaces.
Physically, Nvidia's RTX 3090 Ti Founders Edition graphics card looks identical to its predecessor, being a triple-slot graphics card with a large dual-fan heatsink. Nvidia appears to have kept the same heatsink design as their older RTX 3090 Founders Edition model, which makes sense given how over-size that graphics card is.
With 21 Gbps GDDR6X memory, Nvidia's RTX 3090 Ti breaks the 1 TB/s bandwidth barrier, offering users a 7.7% boost in memory performance over Nvidia's existing RTX 3090 graphics card. In terms of core clock speeds, Nvidia's RTX 3090 Ti also features clock speeds that are over 10% higher than their RTX 3090 and 256 additional CUDA cores. This gives the RTX 3090 Ti more than 40 TFLOPS of single-precision compute performance.
Currently, the pricing of Nvidia's RTX 3090 Ti graphics card remains unknown. It is expected to cost more than the company's RTX 3090. We expect to see more at CES 2022.

Nvidia's RTX 3090 graphics card will be the company's new gaming flagship, offering users more performance and a higher power target, overclocked RTX 3090 Ti models are expected to have PSU requirements in the 1,000 watt range, making Nvidia's RTX 3090 Ti one of the most power-hungry graphics cards ever created. As such, Nvidia's RTX 3090 Ti is expected to use a 16-pin PCIe 5.0 power connector.
