Viewers in the US can now watch Episode 1 of Halo for free

Halo is the latest series' to arrive on the Paramount Plus streaming service in the US, with episode 1 proving to be a huge success for the platform. Now, to help encourage more viewers to join the Netflix-like streaming service, Paramount has put Episode 1 of Halo onto YouTube, hoping to entice viewers into watching the rest of the series on their streaming service. The episode will be available to watch on YouTube for one week.

Sadly, this episode of Halo is only available to watch on YouTube in the US, but that is something that a VPM can fix for users in other nations. Currently, Paramount Plus is available in the US, Canada and Australia, and the Halo TV series is due to arrive outside of these territories later this year.

In the UK, Paramount Plus will become available in the UK as part of Sky Cinema, becoming a free part add-on for Sky Cinema members. Paramount Plus will not become a standalone streaming service in the UK, and at this time it is unknown when the service will be added onto Sky Cinema.

Halo starts Pablo Schreiber as Master Chief, Jen Taylor as Cortana (the same voice actress as the video game series), and Natascha McElhone as Dr Halsey. Halo has already been renewed for a second season, highlighting that Paramount sees the series as a long-term success.

Well I set the VPN to US of A, and gave this a watch. Better than I expected, not great, but they could have done much worse - quite enjoyed it, definitely left me wanting to see the next epsiode. Quote
