It looks like Warcraft 3: Reforged may soon be updated
If we could only use one word to describe Warcraft 3: Reforged, it would be "disappointment". Blizzard had promised too much when they revealed their remastered classic, and underdelivered in seemingly every way. Warcraft 3: Reforged launch was a disaster, and things have not gotten much better since then, but hope remains on the horizon.
Blizzard Entertainment's president, Mike Ybarra, has confirmed that gamers will be hearing from the Warcraft 3: Reforged team "soon", revealing later that we will be hearing from the team "in June". At this time, it is unknown what's coming to Warcraft III: Reforged, as the team behind the game has remained silent for over a year.
Warcraft 3: Reforged has a user score of 0.6 on Metacritic, highlighting how much of a disappointment the remaster was in the eyes of fans. At this point, over two years after the game's initial launch, it is hard to see how Blizzard can fix things with another update for World of Warcraft Reforged. There is little excitement surrounding Ybarra's reveal of new Warcraft Reforged news, and that is because fans are not excited about Warcraft 3: Reforged. Simply put, Warcraft fans need action, not words, to make them excited about World of Warcraft Reforged.
