Assassin's Creed Origins is getting a 60 FPS boost on current-gen consoles this week

Ubisoft has announced that Assassin's Creed Origins will soon be playable at 60 FPS on both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles, doubling the game's framerate when compared to the game's last-generation Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions.

This 60 FPS Assassin's Creed Origins Patch will be available on June 2nd, and at this time this patch appears to have no PC counterpart. That said, 60 FPS gameplay in Assassin's Creed Origins has been available from day-1 for PC gamers with sufficiently powerful hardware.

Ubisoft revealed their 60 FPS update for Assassin's Creed Origins shortly after it was revealed that Assassin's Creed Origins would be coming to Xbox Game Pass for Cloud, Consoles, and PC on June 7th, five days after the release of the game's 60 FPS current-generation patch.
