Far Cry 4 is available for free for a limited time

Amazon Prime subscribers can currently claim up to six free PC games
Amazon's Prime Gaming freebees are a lesser-known benefit of the company's Prime subscription service, offering PC gamers access to free games every month. While many of these free games are indie titles, many others are AAA releases, with recent examples including Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, and Control.
This month, Amazon are giving their Prime Subscribers free copies of Far Cry 4, Escape from Monkey Island, WRC 8 FIA World Rally Championship, Calico, Astrogaster, and Across the Grooves. Far Cry 4 is the obvious highlight of the bunch, despite the game's age.
Every month, Amazon gives away PC games to their Prime subscribers, giving PC gamers an easy way to expand their gaming libraries if they already subscribe to Amazon Prime for the service's other benefits. If you already subscribe to Prime, these gaming giveaways will be a neat little add-on for you. If not, Amazon Prime will not be worth it for the sake of a few PC games, unless Amazon are giving away multiple AAA games during a specific month (which has been known to happen).
If you haven't played it already and are a Prime subscriber, Far Cry 4 is worth picking up. While it is far from the newest game in the Far Cry series, it remains a fun shooter to this day and even moderately powerful gaming PCs should be able to run this game at high framerates.
