Ponte Vecchio now has a successor

Intel has revealed their next-gen data center GPU - Meet Rialto Bridge
At this year's International Supercomputing Conference in Hamberg Germany, Intel has revealed Rialto Bridge, Intel's next-generation data center graphics processing unit. Rialto Bridge is designed to use the same architecture as Intel's Ponte Vecchio GPU and combine "enhanced tiles" (Intel 4?) with "Intel's next process node", enabling higher performance levels, higher TDP limits, and increased performance density.
After multiple delays, Intel's Ponte Vecchio has not reached widespread availability. These GPUs were intended to power the Aurora 2 supercomputer, and it is not ready to be turned on yet. That said, Intel has confirmed that Rialto Bridge will start sampling in mid-2023. The Aurora 2 supercomputer will be Intel's first ExaFLOP supercomputer when it is ready to turn on.
Intel's Rialto Bridge GPU will feature up to 160 Xe cores, feature additional I/O bandwidth (likely using HBM3 memory), and be more power efficient than Intel's Ponte Vecchio designs. Intel's Ponte Vecchio chips feature 128 Xe cores, giving Rialto Bridge a 25% increase in Xe core count. Rialto Bridge is also expected to feature higher clock speeds, enabling further performance advantages over Ponte Vecchio
Rialto Bridge will be compatible with with the same OAM v2 form factor as their Ponte Vecchio chips, making Rialto Bridge an easy design for Intel's customers to adopt.
At this time, it is unknown when Intel's Rialto Bridge products will become more widely available to customers. The product is sampling in mid-2023, but it will take longer before the product is available in larger quantities and to a broader range of customers.
