Stray's coming to PC this summer alongside PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5
When Stray was first revealed, the game was only showcased on PlayStation hardware, with no PC or Xbox version of the cyberpunk cat in sight. Now, Annapurna Interactive has confirmed that Stray will be releasing on PC (through Steam) alongside PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, opening up the game to a broader audience.
Stray is coming to PC and PlayStation on July 19th, allowing players to take control of a cat that is lost and separated from its family. Players must roam the neon-lit city to progress, finding curious droids along the way that may help, and more dangerous creatures.
Alongside the stray is a helpful drone called B12, who is helping the stray make it out if the city. The game is based on Unreal Engine 4 and has modest PC system requirements. Even with these low hardware requirements, Stray's visuals are impressive. While the game appears to be small in scope, the game's cityscapes are beautiful, and the game's lighting is used very effectively, not to mention how well modelled and textured the game's cat-protagonist is.
Below are Stray's PC system requirements, all of which moderate by today's standards.
